Nelson Toburen, a linebacker who claimed two NFL titles with the Green Bay Packers under coach Vince Lombardi, has died at 87 after a cancer illness.

Toburen played during the Lombardi era, a standout chapter in Packers history. The team ruled the NFL during those years, and Toburen was a part of that run of success.

After his time on the field was over, Toburen later worked as a judge in Kansas, a role that defined much of his later life.
